Traditional Japanese Geisha Maiko Beni-fude Lip Brush for Kyobeni Lip Color: Sm
This lovely traditional Lip color Brush is sold exclusively in Kyoto the ancient capital of Japan. It comes from a the famous Kintakedo shop located in the heart of the Gion Kobu District that has a long history of supplying Kanzashi and makeup items to the Maiko and Geiko of Gion. It is made of natural goat hair bristles and has a beautiful deep red & black lacquered wooden stem with ‘Kintakedo’ ‘Butai-yo (stage use), Tokusen’ (specially made) in gold lettering.
It measures 4½" (11 cm) in length and has a tough, clear protective cover for the point. The is excellent for applying lip color of the type we sell or for lip & eye makeup details. Finest quality - products similar to this have been used by
the Geisha and Maiko-san of Gion for hundreds of years.

IMPORTANT: 2020 PANDEMIC SHIPPING NOTE
Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
