This lighter Liquid Makeup is for the hands, arms and other visible parts of the body while the heavy white (Shiro-Nuri) 'Kabuki Oshiroi' (sold separately) is used on the face and neck. It is very easy to apply just as it is with a sponge or makeup pad.

and spread evenly over the hands and arms dabbing out any thick spots and let it dry. It produces a lovely, transparent white. Long-lasting yet easy to remove, it is not oily nor hard on the skin.
These come from the famous Mitsuyoshi company which has a long history of supplying authentic makeup for the 'Hanamachi' District of Kyoto for use by the Maiko and Geiko of Gion and the Kabuki Actors of the Minamiza. This is the exact item they use. The 200 ml plastic bottle is enough for many applications.

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
