Antique Authors game playing cards "48 cards" 1880s Not Complete Interesting

Offering Antique Authors game playing cards "48 cards" late 1800s. These cards are from the late 1800s, I believe.  There are 48 cards  . Condition is antique with fading , dirt on backs , and various tears  and, stains.  Check pictures. The set is incomplete.  Several of the authors are missing death date since they must have been still living in late 1800s.   Example:  John Greenleaf Whittier born Dec. 17, 1807 in Massachusetts printed on his card, but NO  death date present.   Online info said he died in NH in 1892. I am selling only the 48 cards that I have .  Some cards have biographical information, and some have book titles of each author.NO color on face or cards.  Backs  a faded   red/pink. They are interesting but certainly far from perfect. However, I think they are well over a hundred years old.  Had some trouble getting decent pictures. Used mixture of flash and natural light. You will see difference in lighting   I ship in USA only
