1821 Mexican 8 Reales from the Zacatecas Mint, with a bust of Ferdinand VII. This high AU Spanish colonial coin was minted in the final year of the Mexican War Of Independence, which spanned for 11 years. The Army of Three Guarantees won a hard fought revolution against tyrannical Spain. They entered Mexico City on September 27th, 1821 and declared the land “New Spain”. This beautiful piece of Mexican colonial history.
